First of 3 Logan Square Development Planning Sessions This Tuesday
Several weeks ago, 35th Ward Alderman Rey Colon, along with the Metropolitan Planning Council, announced a series of planning sessions to gather input from residents about proposed development of properties adjacent to the Logan Square Blue Line station. Alderman Colon has also invited neighbors who have input on the changes proposed with the Bicentennial Improvements Project to share their input at these meetings.
These sessions have been planned for Sep 9, 16 and 30 from 6-8PM at Hairpin Arts Center located at 2810 N Milwaukee Avenue. The sessions will be facilitated by civic planners to incorporate community input into a set of recommendations that will be included in any RFP that is issued. Neighbors are invited to attend one or more sessions based on their availability.
Further details on tomorrow’s meeting can be found on the Metropolitan Planning Council’s website.
