Raw Footage of Bloomingdale Bridge Placement over Western Avenue
Check out this raw footage captured by LoganSquare.TV of the placement of the Bloomingdale Bridge over Western Avenue. After the bridge was moved to Western Avenue at sunrise on April 19, crews began work to gradually lift the bridge to trail height. It was then carefully moved between the trail, rotated 90 degrees, and lowered into place. This fast-motion video captures the final stages and condenses it into fewer than 5 minutes of footage so the gradual process can be appreciated.

Luckily, Austin Powers wasn’t involved in the placement of the bridge.
