This week, the CTA announced a 4 year, $492 Million renovation project for the Blue Line, including major upgrades at California and Logan Square stations. The repairs will eliminate slow zones and increase reliability of scheduling, thereby reducing travel time between O’Hare and the Loop by 10 minutes.

The renovations will also allow riders to access the Internet using 4G wireless technology, a dramatic improvement over the 3G systems in use currently. Check out the video for more details of the project.
