Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle visited First Ward First, the independent Democratic organization of Chicago’s First Ward, last Saturday, August 24. Preckwinkle met with local residents and shared her insights on managing county government and also took questions from the group.
During the meeting, Preckwinkle shared details of the management of county government. She also addressed the recent issue involving ethics charges against County Assessor Joe Berrios, and Preckwinkle’s subsequent firing of the official who brought those charges.
